Welcome to the Hagerty Huskies Youth Tackle Football

Pop Warner uses the sport of football with a strong emphasis on education to develop responsible, strong young men. We will help build their understanding of teamwork, leadership and discipline to help them achieve their goals later in life.
Kids will compete with players in the same age and weight group as themselves: Age and Weight Requirements. Teams levels are Tiny Mite, Mitey Mites, Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Midget and Midget Levels
Our coaches are volunteers and are selected for their ability to not only teach the game of football but for their ability to build players character on and off the field.
Pop Warner is a big commitment. Our practice this year will begin August 1st with practices being held 4 days a week until Labor Day and then we will switch to 3 days a week. Practice schedules could be changed without notice due to inclement weather. Games are usually about 1 1/2 hrs and players are required to be at the game at least 1 hour prior to game time.

Teams will participate in one or two scrimmages and a jamboree before the official season kicks off. There are both home and away games which require some travel. There will be 8 or 9 games for the 2009 season starting after Labor Day and Playoffs for teams that are eligible.
